In the Valley of Awe

Passing clouds eclipse the cliffs of the Khasi Hills in Cherrapunjee, India, The Wettest Place on Planet Earth.

The magnificent Nohkalikai Falls, easily one of the tallest in India, towers at over 1100 feet. Legend has it that a woman, Ka Likai, threw herself off the cliff giving it the name. Truly humbling sight.
