A lone tree stands amongst the shrubs on the untouched banks of the Jia Bhoreli in Bhalukpong, Assam, India (also known as river Kameng in Arunachal Pradesh). Originating in southern Tibet, the Jia Bhoreli flows through Arunachal and Assam before uniting with the mighty Brahmaputra.

It’s beautiful and solitude exemplified…and the black and white adds tons to it.
Nice view, but am wondering if cropping it from the bottom would be better.
Thanks Indew and Aruna. The water adds depth to the picture, not to mention the effect value of the reflections, I think the picture would not retain the same feel without it.
rightly said, water adds reflection. Also, monochrome has the advantage coz you don’t need a polarizer. Is it originally shot as monochrome or you converted it? If it was in color I’d love to see the original.
Originally shot in color. It was a gloomy day, so the original is almost as gray as a BnW.
Well said.
Even this photo looks stunning with this theme.
I agree the reflection adds a lot to the picture
