iso 400 and 8 sec shutter explains the sharpness of this night shot. I would have thought the lights would flare and overexpose for 8 secs, but the ND filter makes it look unreal. You used a tripod i guess..
This seems to suggest that the higher temperature of the warm-blooded animal includes the advantage of enabling it to get rid of its entropy at a quicker rate, so that it can afford a more intense life process. ,

You used a tripod i guess..
The filter helps a lot. But one can get a similar shot without it -play around with aperture settings and exposure compenstation.
And yes, a tripod was used.
