Since we were talking about scale, here is an other winding road photo taken from far far away (no trains though, as before). The lines you see to the top right of the photo are the cables used in the highest and longest cable car in India. This is in Uttaranchal.

    the word Uttaranchal gives me visions of lush green forests on the mountains, this kinda breaks that myth for me. Nonetheless this is very beautiful.
