A couple of fellow tourists at Hampi recommended that we go check out ‘the lake’ which was a few kilometers away. We rented bikes, had a marvellous ride to there, and then the sight of the Sanapur reservoir took our breath away.

    looks beautiful… the rocks in the distance, i used to think are so typical Hampi… and then on the train ride to Bombay I noticed there are similar rocks just outside Hyderabad! So i guess its Deccan plateau thing.
