Count your steps!
The marvellous view of the Tungabhadra river, from the 525 steps up climb to the Hanuman temple. The temple is located a few kilometers (and a lovely ride) away from Hampi.
The tradition says that temples were often built in such locations, to put the devotees through a certain amount of ‘intense’ activity, just to raise their awareness and receptivity. We were certainly aware of each step we took! A must-visit next time you drop by at Hampi.
