Archery is known to be one of the traditional sports of the Khasi tribe in Meghalaya, India. In Shillong, this has evolved into a betting game . Khasi archers gather in a semicircle around the target to take aim with their hand made bamboo arrows and bows. Bets are made on the number of arrows that will hit the target. Everyday, in Polo Grounds, Shillong, fans and followers gather to place bets.
