Clicked in the small town of Pahalgam, this girl was accompanying the women of her family, who head out to cut grass during the day. Some of the older children, go on their own and it is common to see them carrying sickles. She was a little hesitant when I was taking this picture. Luckily her mother was around, and encouraged her when I asked her to smile.
