..and it’s the only way to enjoy the journey across the vast scraggy Chambal ravines. The Scindia Kings built this line as a hobby, but it turned out to a lifeline for the people living in these parts.

Starting from Gwalior, the line makes its way across the Chambal Valley and National Park to the town of Sheopur, near the border with Rajasthan.
