A fist full of life
In a traditional Andhra wedding, after the thaali is tied, the bride and groom proceed to sit opposite each other and throw fist fulls of turmeirc-coated rice (called ”thalambralu”) at each other in a fun ritual. Captured here, the bride gently shares the uncooked rice with the groom before the fun can begin
