Good Friday
As a kid I didn’t know what Good Friday was meant for.. I would happily go and wish my friends thinking its some festival like Diwali.. only later did I realize that it is a day to commemorate the passion, or suffering of Lord Jesus Christ.
The Panjim Church in Goa holds an annual mass in Konkani language, which attracts a crowd too large for church itself and people stand in doorways beyond its premises to listen to the sermon, narrating the sufferings that Jesus Christ took upon himself for the sake of humanity.
