Turn the bus
The railbus that used to run previously between the towns of Shimoga and Talguppa in Karnataka is one of the most oddest forms of transport you can take in India. It is basically a heavily modified Ashok Leyland bus that sits on rails rather than tyres.
In this photo, we have reached the end of line at Talguppa and since there is no one cab and driving coach, it must be reversed and re-attached to the trailer. This is done by pushing the bus onto a turn-table which is manually rotated. Sadly this archaic ritual can no longer been seen as the entire line has been converted to the more modern broad-gauge with normal trains.

awesome! shamelessly the man stands at the door, instead of making the train(or bus) lighter for the ppl pushing it manually… although it might be marginal in weight, if i was pushing it, i wud be a bit demotivated by the arrogance.
Wow, ancient indeed.
feeling guilty that I never tried this out despite traveling several times in the region
Pranav .. Both the men standing are guilty for staying put.
