Sliding Windows
The gallery is filled to capacity and you finally find your seat, amongst the buzz of eager homo sapiens. Tickets are checked, you recline to a comfortable position and then the show begins, oblivious to the many eyes that fail to appreciate the artistic composition of a million framed pictures on display. The spectacle of nature; the ‘Sliding Windows’.

I’m sure that whoever takes a look at these pics would definitely recollect the lines from Davies’ famous poem “Leisure”…..
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass,
No time to see, in broad day light,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at beauty’s glance
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
Am I correct????
Simply Amazing.
One picture that truly explains my love for train journeys and why the ‘SL’ class will always be the best.
Anupreet, its been put together beautifully
Bravo!
Air travel is comfort gauranteed but a train travel sometimes gives you
a good friend, station’s best dishes (mount abu’s kulfi/ jaipur’s – pyaaz kachori), unexplored natural beauty and sometimes the sinking feeling of being on a long bridge just above Ganga…
Nice..
Beautifully done… very nice indeed
Smashing image. Great poem, Venkata. Im in love with this blog
