The Departed?

Goodbye 2010. The year we never really posted photos with the energy we had in 2009 & 2008.
These are the kind of conversations we have very often:
- Person in the elevator whom i recognize by face but not by name: Hey, what happened to your india photos – it was amazing, when are you posting more?
- Person with whom I never shared much mutual respect: looks like your photo site is dead, you dont hv photos do you?
- Good friends: PS post photos, why are you giving up? I have a few guest photos, recruit more, encourage your team and post…
- idp member: we should post photos, we have taken a long break
6 of us drifted apart, barely in touch, often making plans to resurrect, but never really followed up. As cliched as it may sound, actions still do speak louder than words.
Big thank you to each and everyone of you who pestered us and encouraged to restart posting. Here goess, hoping we have renewed enthusiasm and a non-cynical attitude in 2011
PS: I know this is a terrible photo. At the moment, this is symbolic and hopefully soon we will post something better.

Actually the photo is great! When you step back from what is shown to think about how many people are on that train, all the stories each person has to tell, this photo really is captivating. It’s India in a nutshell, or a train compartment
